Yes, it only gets better. Loving a child is one of the most wonderful experiences and also one of the most painful experiences. When they are ill or unhappy, your heart just wants to break. And when they are happy and laughing...there is nothing better!!! Not even sex :)!!!
Samuel was with me at the gym while I was teaching my class the other day and suddenly he ran up to me and kissed my leg (while I was stuck in an awkward yoga pose!!) and said, "I love you Mommy!" The powerful love connection between Mom and child can not adequately be described...love the picture, know the feeling and it's from God Himself!

What fun pictures!! I am so happy for you!!
Stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking . . . I am talking about you and Jesse-Lee together.
Gosh, Char, it's all so amazing -- and you are LIVING it, girl!
amazing. this is thie life. you look beautiful with a baby in your arms.
What a fun idea to take a pic from Jesse-Lee's perspective! That last picture just personifies "contentment!" :)
It's too difficult to explain what real love feels like.
Great post... I may just copy it.
