Shoes, shoes, shoes

I had a bit of a problem getting dressed this morning. I just could not decide what I wanted to wear. Usually I choose my shoes first, then a shirt to match. My standard attire for work daily is denims with a girly shirt and boring sensible shoes. Sensible because we're always plodding around on dirty sites, and I've ruined one too many pairs of to-die-for dainty shoes. But this morning, I so did not want to wear boring clod-hoppers. I was in a hooray-for-shoe-designers mood. (Cue the Legally Blonde soundtrack...) Hence the farting around in my dressing room when I should have already been at work indecision.
Who can blame me when there are such FABULOUS shoes to choose from?

And since you're wondering, I chose a sensible boring pair after all. It's all about responsibility and all of that grown-uppy stuff. Sigh!

The first step is admitting you have a problem :P

I wish I had your "problem"... I don't enjoy shopping for shoes - because I can never find any that I like... but yours are LOVELY! No wonder you were having a little trouble... :o)

Do you have access to Crocs? They are by far, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I think you can go to crocs.com to check them out.

I haven't worn anything with a "heel" since 1998. I'd probably break an ankle bone if I tried it. And I must say, you have wonderful taste in shoe wear!!!!

Shoes!!! I am sure, in the upcoming months, as my stomach expands with this baby, shoes will be my only solace when it comes to dressing. No matter how fat and bloated I get, my feet always stay the same. Now, if only I can convince my husband to give me pedicures when I no longer can reach my feet...

Choosing Shoes

New shoes, new shoes,
Red and pink and blue shoes.
Tell me, what would you choose,
If they'd let us buy?

Buckle shoes, bow shoes,
Pretty pointy-toe shoes,
Strappy, cappy low shoes;
Let's have some to try.

Bright shoes, white shoes,
Dandy-dance-by-night shoes,
Perhaps-a-little-tight shoes,
Like some? So would I.

Flat shoes, fat shoes,
Stump-along-like-that shoes,
Wipe-them-on-the-mat shoes,
That's the sort they'll buy.

Hey Char, I love those oh so pretty shoes myself. But here I really miss wearing them. No chance to wear high heals here. Only to church, once a week. Not enough! oh well...
